    Why is Spark Important?

    The Chief of Staff’s Strategic Studies Group collaborates closely with AFWERX Spark to accelerate senior leadership’s strategic direction. We leverage this partnership to empower Spark Cells and Airmen, who operate at the forefront of tactical innovation, to implement those strategies effectively.

    Since joining the AFWERX ecosystem, I’ve been able to find some solutions to common problems for Airmen at a local level. An example is a 3D printed cap for a piece of AGE that helped us clear a six month backlog. It seemed super small at the time, but when you start to expand that to other bases, you really see the tangible benefits of being able to use some of the new technologies that AFWERX, Project Arc, and the Spark Cells provide.
